Hey y’all!
My name is Drew Parker, and I am thankful to be on staff at the same ministry that gave me the faith that I have today!
I came to Lubbock for school in 2013, graduated with my associates from South Plains College in 2017, and then went onto Texas Tech University to get my bachelor’s in creative media in 2019!
I started as a student at Wesley in the Fall of 2014 and became heavily involved a couple years later. I was baptized right here in our basement in the Spring of 2015, served as a student intern for a year, as a graduate intern for a year, and then came onto the director’s team in the Spring of 2020! I met my now wife, Gillian, at Wesley in 2017, got married in 2021, and now live in Lubbock with our dog Bailey! We love Lubbock, Texas Tech, and the Wesley!
Among other roles, I oversee our social media and do a variety of tasks revolving around photography and videography! My passion lies in creating content that excites me, continuously getting better, pushing my creativity, and involving our students within my work as much as possible! Seeing students getting fired up about the projects we’re working on is one of my favorite things, and I have some rockstar students that I have the pleasure of collaborating with!
I am excited for the new year and look forward to seeing what God has in store for us! Please be in prayer for our staff and students as we strive to connect and impact the community of Texas Tech,
