Al Martin - Director
Al Martin is right at home as the director of the Wesley Foundation at Texas Tech. He is a West Texas boy that met his West Texas wife, Jodie, while he was getting a graduate degree at Texas Tech. He and Jodie were married in Lubbock in 1993 and have bounced all over the place since then…it is nice for them to be in Lubbock. While neither Al nor Jodie attended the Wesley during their years as students, they were physically and spiritually on the “other side” of campus, they feel like they are now home.
Scott Latham - Small Groups and Community

If you don’t like introductions, here is your chance to skip one. Go ahead, no one is watching.
Now if you are still reading, picture if you will…
…a husband who is madly in love with his wife.
…a papa who frantically tries to keep up with his six children.
…an old man who desperately hopes he has reached maturity in a few places.
…a spiritual father who has a deep passion for the younger generations.
…a rabbi who has many years of experience but is still hungry to learn more… much, much more.
Brenda Brints - Women's Ministry
Howdy, I am Brenda Lee Dolores Ane Jenkins Brints. I was born in Canton, Ohio on Wed. Nov. 10th 1971. Which means, I will be the big 4-0 this Nov. I am a little excited about it, as you can tell. I moved to Lubbock Texas in Jan. 95, married my amazing husband, Travis, in May 00 and started our sweet family in Sept. of 03. We now are a family of 5, Travis, me and our three wonderful boys. We are very blessed!
Josh Hurst - Missions and Campus Life
I am a 23-year-old Texas Tech graduate. I moved to Lubbock from the far-away hometown of Ruston, Louisiana (current Texas Tech pipeline feeder). As an out-of-place freshman who knew no one, the Wesley Foundation became my community. It helped shape and form the leader I am today. Through my involvement in salt shaker, small groups, Underground, and leadership teams, I began to realize the huge passion God had given me to see college students come to know and grow in intimacy with the Lord.
Dallas Stevens - Worship and Music
An alumni of Texas Tech, Dallas has been on staff here at the Wesley Foundation since 2001. He has been leading worship since his early days in youth group (gasp) in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Dallas began singing in church and with his Grandma’s band when he was 8 years old. Since those early days Dallas has picked up the piano, keyboards, drums, a few brass instruments, kazoo, and guitar. Originally from Denver City, Texas (80 miles southwest of Lubbock), he now resides in the LBK with his beautiful wife Kacey (which he met at this here fine campus ministry) and their awesome kids, Abby and Will. Dallas is also a former Wesleyite and his time here has given him the desire to minister to students like he received while at Tech and the Wesley.
Penny Wilson - Director of Development and Administration

Since June 2000 I have worn several different hats here at Wesley. The hat I wear proudly today is my passion and calling as the Director of Development and Administration. I am over our annual Phon-a-thon, Methodist Masters Golf Tournament and other fundraisers we choose to do throughout the year as well as keep the office running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. This position does have its challenges, but it is continually rewarding and such a blessing to serve Him at Wesley.

Amā Norris - Intern
Amā is a lover of many fine things, French pressed coffee, Abraham Lincoln, Apple products and the very recent “Finer Things Club”. She loves Jesus with all that she is and is truly a light to those around her. Amā is super easy going, and easy to talk to, so feel free to come up to the office and chat or maybe suggest getting a cup o’ joe or a McAllister’s sweet tea to get to know her. (You wont regret it!)
Amā graduated with a degree in Advertising from Texas Tech in the spring of 2011 and plans of attending Asbury Theological Seminary in the fall of 2012.
Matt Martinez - Intern
Hello. My name is Matt Martinez. I am the life of the parties I have never attended. Once, I had an awkward moment, just to see how it feels. My mother has a tattoo that reads “son”. When I walk into a museum…I’m allowed to touch the art. I can speak French, in Russian. When I bowl, I bowl overhand. When I’m in Rome, they do as I do. Sharks have a week dedicated to me. Essentially….I love Jesus, and I am the most interesting man in the world.
#bfrt I love Jesus. I love the Wesley Foundation. If it's about food, I'm interested. I really like to play ultimate frisbee and I pretty much enjoy any sort of outdoor activity. I'm a proficient Spanish speaker and I have an uncanny ability to imitate almost any sound or person. Come see if you want to know more! Seacrest out.
Brittany Klein - Intern
Hi, I’m Brittany Klein. I am a senior psychology major at Texas Tech. I have been attending the Wesley Foundation since my freshman year and my passion for Christ has grown immensely since I have been coming to the Wesley. I enjoy cooking, playing my Wii, particularly Just Dance, and painting. I have 3 C’s that I dislike: cleaning, cheese, and cats. I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for me at while I am interning at the Wesley.
Chase Fallin - Intern
Hi, my name is Chase Fallin. One time I wrestled a bear in the woods. It was a Black Bear, which we all know is the “best bear!” Bears. Beets. Battle Star Galactica. In other words, I am still here so that means that the bear was beaten. I then went to the cubs, named them, and rode them one by one like a small horse.
Seriously though, I am a recent graduate in Sociology from Louisiana Tech University. I am a very passionate for the Lord and for the Wesley Foundation. Having being involved with the Louisiana Tech Wesley for three years, and having a heart for Lubbock, being an intern here was a perfect fit. I am so blessed to be a part of this community and can not wait to see what God has in store for me this year and grow with the community of the Wesley and Texas Tech!
