When is the 2011 Red Raider Donut Dash?  

 
October 22, 2011. Registration and Check-in will begin at the Texas Tech Urbanovsky Fields at 9:00am.   Race begins at 10am.

 
Can you register on raceday?

Yes.  You may register on raceday. It is an extra $5 to register the day of. 

 
Can individuals register as a group or team?
 
Yes.  You may enter a team name when you register. If you are a part of a team, then your team is responsible for eating 1 dozen of doughnuts before returning to the finish line.  You may have as many team members as you would like on a team.

 
What is the difference between the Competitive and Fun Runner Divisions?
 
Competitive, Fun, and Team runners will all start at the same time and run the same course.  The only difference between the two divisions is the donut eating requirement.  Competitive runners must finish all 12 donuts before and return to the finish line in order to be eligible for the competitive division awards.  Fun runners can eat as many donuts as they choose. Competitive and fun runners alike are encouraged to have as much fun as possible!! 

 
Do you have to eat the donuts?
 
No, you do not. You can register as a fun runner rather than a competitor and eat a few doughnuts or no doughnuts at all. You can also race back to Urbanovsky with a box of donuts to take home.

Can I walk?

Yes. We know eating donuts and running might not sound like the best plan.  But having fun and supporting the Wesley Foundation is going to be one amazing day!

 
Do I have to run the race to get a t-shirt?
 
You do not have to run to receive a t-shirt. You can sign up as a Supporter and make a $15 donation for a t-shirt.  

 
Is there water during the race?
 
There will be water available at stations throughout the donut dash.  Feel free to bring your own water to run with during the race if you would like. 

 
Can I run with a jogging stroller? 
 
Of Course!! We want the entire family to have a good time and this includes all of the kids! 

Can I bring my pet?

For sure! Bring the whole family.  Your dog may even help you eat your donuts in the fun division.
