Ultimate Playlist

From very early on people have been using music and song to express the different angles of the human condition from joy to love to brokenness and everything in between. Radios have helped us connect with one another through the good and the bad of artists’ life journeys. This semester at the Wesley, we are going to listen to what our world has been singing about and check out how the songs of the bible connect with, counter, and possibly solve the struggles embedded within the melodies of everyone from Nine Inch Nails to Radiohead.

Underground

Underground is our weekly worship service @ 8 pm every Thursday throughout the school year.  When we worship God with all that we are whether in life or together, it is powerfully transformative. Underground is our weekly service where we come together to worship and exalt Jesus with all that we are, wherever we are.Underground starts off with a time of worship led by Dallas Stevens and the Wesley Band.

"The Story of God"

After worship we have an in depth time of bible study.  Al Martin and other Wesley staff will be preaching using the meta narrative (the whole story) of the bible.  We are going to be taking a broad view at the entire story of God this school year (2011 - 2012). Get excited to learn more about the entire bible, and get ready for God to reveal some truths to us as we reflect on his story!
