If you don't know me well, missions have always been huge on my heart. I've been on a few missions overseas and spent some time with an organization called YWAM(Youth With a Mission). I am currently an intern with the Wesley Foundation in Lubbock, TX which is a campus ministry for Texas Tech University. As an intern I am focusing on the missions area of the Wesley and will be going to Haiti over Spring Break. This is very important to me as this is one of the most developed mission trips the Wesley Foundation offers. Since I will be around for a while I feel the need to be present in the development of relationships with our partners in Haiti. Also, God has placed a passion on my heart not only for the nation of Haiti, but also for helping people learn how to operate overseas in tandem with the Holy Spirit. One of the focuses of this trip is to equip people who have never been overseas with the skills and experience necessary to be effective and comfortable on future mission trips that may last longer. I am asking you to partner with me in letting God's presence shine through me for the people of Haiti, to repair relationships between a broken people and a God who is in desperate love with them, and to equip myself and my peers with a deeper knowledge of God, different cultures, and ourselves.
